WITH MIDES

With repairs and refurbishments by MIDES, significant savings can be achieved compared to purchasing new devices. Fortunately, they also avoid unnecessary waste and costly electronic waste and help significantly in reducing emissions of climate-damaging greenhouse gases.

In collaboration with mission zero Klimapartner GmbH, it was determined that our repair services save significant amounts of CO2 equivalents, CO2e for short, compared to new purchases, according to ISO 14067.

Depending on the device and the repair effort, up to 85% CO2e compared to buying a new one: For phaco handpieces, this corresponds to reduced CO2e-emission of around 2kg, around 7kg for ultrasound probes and over 10kg for endoscopes.

 

In other words: just 150 repairs of ultrasound probes can prevent 1 ton of CO2e.
